Tranquility Camp operates a non-profit Christian camp for the benefit of children, youth, and families, in a natural environment.
We believe that experiencing the beauty of creation, will encourage people to learn more about themselves, improve relationships, recognize responsibilities to society, and grow in relationship with God. We seek to serve people, regardless of race or creed, who desire to learn in an outdoor Christian camp setting, and eager to work, study, play and grow together with others of like mind. Our staff seeks to be servant-leaders, following the example of Christ.

OUR HISTORY
The history of Tranquility Camp begins in 1926 when Garden State Academy was founded. It continued to be an Adventist institution for consecrated Christian men and women for over 75 years. After closing, GSA became Tranquil Valley Retreat Center located in Sussex County NJ, "where men and nature come together." We hope at Tranquility Camp that you may find tranquility at our newly renovated Ellis Hall, Extended Gym, and state of the art indoor pool, as well as the rest of our facilities. Blessings.
